Known as one of the most beautiful
linear parks in Quebec, the Parcours des Anses is a 15-km multi-purpose
pathway winding along the St. Lawrence River. Completely paved and
safe because of its location on a former railroad right-of-way, the
Parcours des Anses provides visitors with an opportunity to enjoy
a wide range of outdoor activities (walking, cycling and rollerblading)
due to its specially designated lanes.
It is easily accessible to families and boasts picnic areas and gardens
all along the way where the weary can stop to relax. Everywhere you
look, there are magnificent sights to behold: bridges, Québec’s fortifications – lit
up at night, the Château Frontenac and Île d'Orléans.
Lévis prides itself on a wonderful network of bicycle paths. From
east to west and from north to south, it is crossed by the “Route
verte.” Lévis is also home to Le Grand Tronc linear park, a part
of both the “Route verte” and the Trans Canada Trail.
